I like the yarn and the color. I was just so over and done with this scarf. I like boring every now and then, but this was too boring for me. And it took me forever.
Back to knitting in public.... sorry but I didn't take any pictures of the crowd or goings on. I didn't know anyone and I didn't think they would like their picture being taken for my little ole blog. There were about maybe thirty people who showed, so it was a decent turn out, I think. I heard later in Rosie's that the one in June had a lot more knitters show up. Either way, it was a beautiful day to be out, and any day spent knitting is good with me :)
(Next time I will make sure at least one my peeps comes with)
TTFN! Go Phillies!
Easy projects are always so nice. But then, they can become annoying. About 1/2 way through I'm always itching to finish quickly.
ReplyDeleteI know all about boring projects. I never thought I would finish my Wicked sweater.
ReplyDeleteYour scarf is really cool! I love the pattern and the yarn you used. Great job!
I love the colorway, it's very pretty. I know what you mean though, I like patterns that keep me thinking...and are fast lol : )
ReplyDeleteIt sounds like you had a good time, that's great!!
The scarf looks great, actually--doesn't look boring at all! :)
ReplyDeleteI've knit that pattern myself, and the result is one of my favorite scarves. I don't remember if it was boring or not, but scarves usually are.
Y'know, scarves are so hot right now that I bet you get tons of great comments about it when you wear it around. No one will know that it is anything but completely fabulous!!!
ReplyDeleteThe scarf looks great. I'm only good with boring knitting when I'm doing other things as well. :) That is cool you went to a KIP event. I'm just planning one for my knitting group for next month. We did it in june and it was way too hot here. :) It should be fun we are doing a BBQ!
